Landscaping Website & Landing Pages

The landscaping and design industry is extremely competitive but it’s still not that difficult to get to page one if your landscaping website is properly optimized for search, which most are not.

The Client:
Hammer & Hoe Outdoor came to us as they were transitioning from a 10 year lawn maintenance company to a full blown landscaping and design business. Over the course of their business history, they slowly expanded into offering 3D landscaping designs and backyard retreat builds, complete with hardscaping, fire pits, outdoor seating, pergolas, and dramatic landscape lighting packages.

They wanted to rebrand and needed a website to tell their story and provide an online portfolio of their work.

The Strategy:
We started the project with a keyword blueprint, which is the first step for most of our projects. The right keyword phrases, with high monthly search and low competition, becomes the blueprint for site-wide optimization for search engines.
As we build the website, we include our top chosen keyword phrases throughout the headlines, subheaders, content, image alt tags and meta descriptions.

We designed the website to showcase their landscaping work with an online portfolio knowing that as we continued to add projects with appropriate keyword phrases, the site would continue to gain organic traffic and leads.
We also built a landing page that outlined the Landscaping & Design Process and connected it to paid search with Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

Landscaping Social Media Assets

Jumpstart Your Social Media With Video

An additional project included photo shoots of the client’s best landscaping projects and creating video assets for social media reels, Facebook posts and to use with paid ads.
The nice thing about building a landscaping website is the number of assets that can be accumulated over time and repurposed again and again. Lighting packages, walkways, pool area landscaping, backyard retreats, curb appeal and even plant spotlights work well.
But the very best image assets for a landscaping website are going to be the before and after shots. We used still photos as well as videos to create engaging before and after shots that really showcase the experience and attention to detail of each project.
A few of these assets are below.
